Did someone say party?

'Tis the season for lots of parties, potlucks and gatherings. Since this is the first major holiday season we've been through on the blog, I thought it might be a good time to mention some of our past recipes that would be the perfect addition to any party, whether you're attending or hosting the shindig.

Meg and I put our heads together to think of things that:

* Have worked well at our own parties, like Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip.

* Are seasonal and serves a lot of people, like Pumpkin Bread Pudding.

* Can be customized with colors o' the season, like black/orange or red/green sprinkles on Mini-Chocolate Covered Pretzels.

* Are super moist and can be made ahead of time (or at the last minute!) in a variety of flavors, like Cake Mix Cookies/Cakies.

* Can be easily eaten while socializing and can be made holiday-specific with sprinkles, like Mini-Red Velvet Cupcakes.

* Are easy to make but will set you apart from the chocolate chip cookies and brownies at the party, like Oreo Cupcakes or Cookie Dough Cupcakes.

And after putting together this post, I want to host a party and make all of these :)

Those all sound amazing!! My family and I do a big baking day every october and december. We always make the chocolate covered mini pretzels. And cake mix cookies.. doesn't get any easier than that! LOVE your blog :)

Family baking days are so fun! You'll have to send us pictures of your baking day creations. My goal is to branch out a little and do more candy and fudge this year. :)

I love the idea of the cookie dough dip. I'm going to try that this holiday season. Thanks for the whole list...it's inspirational!
